Looking to be a big year in Australia for the Carrera Cup, with ex V8 dumpee James Moffat and a couple of other guys stepping up from GT3 Challenge cup. That's also going to be interesting to watch, as Wall Racing is fielding Chelsea Angelo this year. If you don't know her, you probably will soon, as that girl can drive! I'm a big fan of hers, as she has a never give up attitude, and I really hope she does well, and gets the backing she deserves. I reckon she'll be a regular in the top 5 to 10 for sure

Its on again, so if you're a lover of motorsport, especially the old F1 cars, come on over for a day or 2 in December. Heard there might be a few PFA interstaters dropping in. There's even a 'Porsche Through The Ages feature to encourage as many Porsche's to be displayed on the infield (and on track I believe). The organiser, Tim, is a Porsche owner and enthusiast

Here's their promotional video

had our first track day at the Island last Saturday, first time for over 20 years so the Saturday practise day was the opportunity to check our vehicle mods, get the youngun some tuition and track time and see if the old boy could still peddle. This post isn't so much about us but a black 911? Late model could have even been a Turbo S....Owned by a tall, lithe gent who had a good relationship with an older gent peddling an R35 I think and both went like the showers of s..t, seriously both gave it everything, low 40's for the Porsche, mids for the Nissan and wow, was fantastic to witness and the sound from the Porsche was way better than Cup cars imo, massively impressive, is the Porsche owner a forum member????

Great news that the driver who dominated Carrera Cup here in Oz, Matt Campbell, has been chosen as the Porsche junior in the Supercup championship in 2017. That kid has to be one of the best drivers I've seen for a while, and I reckon he'll go all the way to LMP1 in the WEC if he has a decent year. Let's hope Australian business gets behind him, and helps him go all the way

A friend of mine that leases another Sports Sedan from Steve's Toy Shop has asked me to offer this out there, certainly not for the faint hearted ?

The latest creation from Steve Vigurs at Steve's Toyshop is almost ready to hit the track with completion April 2017. It's a Porsche 928, chassis #36 in the Steve's Toyshop stable. It runs a Hendrick SB2.2 Nascar engine (approx 770HP), Hewland VGC 6 speed transaxle, AP 6 and 4 piston brakes and weights in at only 1045kg wet, with no driver. The car will be cable of being a front runner in either State or National Sports Sedans and is available for lease from next month for a base cost of $10K per meeting including GST.. Do you have what it takes to drive this beast.
