  5. The same caravan dealer tried selling it some time last year. No success obviously.
  6. I have a few mates over there from Melburg Luft VW forum who are also mates with Ben at Dak Dak @Kerry so I'll try and have a few days there to catch up with everyone. Will be a fly in job though, so you can leave the RS at the airport and I'll pick you up sometime👍 I just saw on the Melburg Luft forum that Ben is holding a pre VW 'Jambo' show brunch there on the 2nd @Kerry I'm sure there will be loads of people attending on that day

Good luck with the sale Caveman. For anyone looking for a Boxster, this is the one to buy. David is nothing short of fanatical with his cars so you are getting a good one here.

    For Sale: 2003 Boxster

Far out man! The only reason I have my Porsche is to go on Caver's drives. What am I supposed to do now?
  17. We could only speculate on how long it’s been that way and why.. and with regard to UV exposure, I’d imagine it’s mostly garaged, and pigment selection for paints on modern cars you’d imagine they select them with good lightfastness
  18. A pro would have that done in a day at least 90% if the base is solid. Looking at $600- $800 and would be like new
  19. My only concern with back to stock is will the paint have faded differently? The pieces taken off wont have had the same UV exposure so might not fully match the rest of the car?
  20. why is this still for sale? https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2005-Porsche-911-Carrera-S-997-Manual/OAG-AD-16883361?pageSource=details&id=OAG-AD-16883361 I know its been detailed with chip fat (hot chips fat) but can be easily rectified with a 2 weekend / give it to a pro detail. Lobster claws actually look ok in this colour. Cheeky $65k ish offer - PPI / lowering springs and a detail...badda bing badda bang.
  21. March is a bugga of a month. Busy as hell. 9 and 10 is Phillip Island classic following weekend is F1GP.
  22. I agree with this sentiment, I’d put it back to 100% original... it looks to be a nicely spec’d PDK Carrera S originally. I think the add ons make it much less desirable on face value (dare I say tacky), and quite honestly it just doesn’t look cohesive style wise.. the GT3 bar without the splitter looks odd, really odd...
