A big day out at the ex GM Lang Lang proving grounds. Quite unnerving on the top bank approaching 200+kph for the first time up there. Also for the brave apparently the circuit can be driven hands free at about 160! Also a great time was had on the skid pan for a motokana session, tones of fun especially once they’d wet it down. A big turnout of PCV members some of which sure will post more pics. Member of the club Scott ( @outlawgarage ) with his drones were there so no doubt will have lots more to add on his channel.

Gundo Hack 3.6 Yes/No Recommendations?
acf321 replied to Unclehollywood's topic in Water Cooled 911s
Hi Guys, Have recently bought a 3.4 manual Carrera 98 and am looking to do the fister hack. From my reading, this is the small welded in piece (bridge) between the inlet and outlet pipes, as opposed to the extra pipe that is plumbed from the actual muffler box into the outlet pipe. I bought the care from Autohaus in August '23 and receipts show the prior owner had asked PR Tech to remove some internal baffles. This means it's just a louder version of a standard exhaust, and does not offer that hotter / sharper tone that seems to come from the Fister. Does anybody have a set of 3.4 mufflers either with, or without the Fister hack that are surplus to requirements? I would be interested in buying a set so as to change out what I have. I'm located in Sydney, near Balmain. cheers, -
For sale is my 2007 997 Turbo auto with 51,500 km on the clock. Highly specked, it's white with Marine Blue interior with silver stitching and "silver interior pack", hard backed body colour coded adjustable sports seats and all the options for the day. Comes with the amazing ceramic brakes that compliment the auto transmission well as an overall package. Dare I say last of the Metzger engined Turbos. Car was Perth delivered, has spent all it's life here and has been fully serviced by Chellingworth Porsche as can be see by it's fully stamped books, has all original books, keys etc, car is in mint condition, just driven enough to keep all in good order, next servicing due August. Asking $190k Cheers, Phil

996 Turbo Stiff Brakes and Heavy Steering - Really?
flamingporsche replied to Waverley's topic in Water Cooled 911s
Probably flat tyres. 996 turbo is under-braked and benefits from upgrading from the 997 parts bin... -

996 Turbo Stiff Brakes and Heavy Steering - Really?
hugh replied to Waverley's topic in Water Cooled 911s
Sounds like the car just needs some TLC. Shouldn't be any issues with steering or brakes in any 996. Might also be worth checking for any previous front end damage (just to rule it out!)
