    • Hi mate, dimensions are: stud holes centre to centre approx 65 or 66; and exhaust pipe approx 36 or 37. Hope that helps.
    • I might have interest; are you able to provide the distance centre to centre for the stud holes and the inside and outside diameter of the exhaust pipe where it fits into the cylinder head?
    • AP Racing Radi-CAL Competition Brake Calipers - As New, Purchased from Australian Supplier late last year and can supply with original receipts. Selling all four calipers for $5500ono, so saving of $1500. If you want the pads I can do a deal. CP9668 Front with 25mm pad RRP $4400 $700 Circo M119 pads https://www.vsport.com.au/ap-racing-cp9668-calipers Will fit up to 380mm disc with 18" wheels with sufficient offset. CP9449 Rear with18mm pad RRP $2800 $500 Circo M119 pads These were fitted up and tested but the piston sizes with my disc size turned out to be too large for my smaller car (non-GT) so the Calipers are still As New with only test use. Would suite GT car with large diameter discs > 380mm wanting to go to smaller dics 380mm. Will clear forged 18" wheels with 380mm discs. Also suits BMW M cars with larger piston sizes/calipers. Or smaller disc sizes 350mm.

    • I have a '97 993 tiptronic which I've owned for a few years and never had any issues with the transmission.   Recently had a service at PCM and all good reports, no red flags.   Yesterday I was driving in auto/D mode for the first 5 min following an initial 30min trip, then parked for a couple of hours and all of a sudden it would not shift up out of 3rd gear and remained revving around 3000rpm while ~85km/hr.   I tried shifting it across to manual and manually shifting up and down but nothing changed.  Stuck in 3rd.   It did shift back down, when in normal drive mode again when I slowed down and found a place to pull over where I could safely park and turn the car off.   I started it back up again after a minute or so and everything seemed to go back to normal.   Anyone had any similar experiences out of the blue in a tip 993 ?  Any ideas on what the root cause might be and how to remedy other than taking it back to PCM to be checked out ?  I have not refilled anything since it had a major service around a month ago.
    • They’re a bloody menace at PI.  I copped one turn 12, years ago - it took off just as I hit the apex before coming onto the main straight and it bounced off the windscreen and made a hell of a thud but didn’t break it.  That was in a Datsun 1600 years ago.   I blame concern for geese for being 3s off the fastest 4RS times 🤣
    • i look at it from the following view point the 3rd Industrial Revolution was in 1969, the 4th Industrial Revolution ocurred in 2000. We are now well and truly ripe for the sequence of the 5th Industrial Revolution and this one may far outweigh the previous 4, it may actually have the largest impact on humanity. From Electric Vehicles, Clean Energy Supply, Digital Currencies, Digital ID’s, New Age Banking, Cashless Societies etc etc the changes are all coming. all industrial revolutions have had their positive impacts but it has taken extensive time for humanity to realise the benefits. As difficult as EV’s maybe to embrace right now for most of us, the change is well and truly on and EU governments are somewhat taking a stand when it comes to the automobile. 2025 Porsche Boxster 983 EV
    • Goose never saw it coming.
    • Yeah. Assuming a metzger is tracked for 100, max 130 hours it will need a refresh.  At av 150kmh that’s 15000 to 19500 km before the risk will cost way more than the preventative rebuild if it goes wrong.  Just saying….. porsche engines are really good, that good they last that long. Beyond that one may be optimistic based on my ownership, and tracking them, rebuilding them and research.
