  1. The guy could be wearing a Borat style fluro green mankini for all I care. I focus on the car not the fashion. 😂 Sounds ace rowing up and down the gears. 👍🏻
  2. This is fairly quick around Wakefield:
  3. Rented a superleggera from the bull bar near lambo factory back in 2011. Drives like an absolute pig, but it was fun. Felt more like a muscle car than sports car and the e-gear kick is savage.
  4. Brake fluid is hygroscopic. It’ll damage the brake components over time with the build up of water content. That’s why it’s recommended every 2 years to change it regardless of usage.
  5. https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2006-Porsche-911-Carrera-S-997-Manual-MY06/SSE-AD-6563428 Pictures of log book stamps on the ad indicate the last brake fluid change was in 2012 and last service in 2013?? Kms didn’t change much after then either.
  6. I remember this car on carsales a couple of years ago (because I was interested at the time) advertised for 170-180K. Same Alpine head unit and reverse camera, same wear spots on alcantara steering wheel. Love the spec being a black clubsport.
  7. What were they priced like 8 months ago?
  8. I'm on the verge of doing the Gundo hack, but would really like to hear the sound in person first... Anyone with the mod in Sydney that's available to demonstrate the sound (preferably on a 997.1 Carrera S)?
  9. What happens that transforms the car?
  10. +1 for Michelin Pilot Super Sport for best grip (wet and dry)/wear/price combo. Recently moved up to Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 on my 997.1 S and these are on another level in the dry, however don't expect the same wear, wet grip or price. Don't rate the N spec Michelin Pilot Sport 2 that highly that were the first set on my car (quite an old design now and tyre tech has moved on). The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S is meant to be the replacement to the Super Sport and from reviews they are another substantial advancement again. Haven't tried them personally and not sure if they are available here yet, but maybe an option if you don't need to buy straight away and can wait for local stock?
