  1. https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/Porsche-911-Carrera-2003/OAG-AD-16593784?utm_campaign=search-alert&utm_source=notification-centre&utm_medium=email $105...?!
  2. The seller is willing to negotiate. What’s holding it back is it’s had a considerable hit on the passenger side torpedo wing with a kangaroo and some numbnut drilled through the compliance plate taking out some of the numbers during a dodgy alarm install. It’s been on carsales for about two years now....
  3. Aspirational pricing or the way things seem to be heading...? Km’s are getting up there though... https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/Porsche-911-Carrera-2001/SSE-AD-5577865?ret=search-alert&utm_source=internal-carsales-notification-centre-search-alert&utm_medium=email
  4. It’s been relisted. I seem to remember from the earlier listing that it’s a twin-plugged 3.5l.
  5. Not sure if this has been mentioned before but looks interesting. Anyone know anything about it....? https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1982-Porsche-911-SC-Manual/SSE-AD-3578728?id=SSE-AD-3578728
  6. Rang the gent this morning. Thought it was an X51 as he had the power kit option selected in features. I actually got him to post the options sticker on carsales. Since it turned out to not be an X51 I hesitated.....
  7. Not 100% sure but I believe it’s the same one that’s on carsales now. Same colour and km’s and in Melbourne. That decent looking white one in Qld went for $105-$110K this week. Then there is also that slate blue ‘84 that’s been on cs for well over a year. Started at $130, stayed there for ages, then down to $120, and now at $115 for a while. Still hasn’t moved.
  8. I think the exact response was “No, not even close..." and there was no interest in continuing the conversation on that front. At that price I’d rather make a move on the midnight blue 964 C2 in Melb.
  9. Well, an offer of $125K was flatly knocked back. Is it worth $130-$135K in the current market...?
  10. No, apparently one cannot get a replacement for the actual plate. You can get a letter of compliance after jumping through a series of hoops but it’s not quite the same.
  11. Pretty much.....that and the shunt with the kangaroo are going to be issues if, or rather when, I decide to move it on down the track. Have to say though that the seller seemed to be quite a nice guy who was very forthcoming about the car’s history.
  12. After some further research and feedback have decided to give this one a miss.
  13. Maybe I’m blind but I couldn’t find that much info on it in the 964 thread. I spoke to the owner today and he did mention that a hole was drilled through the compliance plate and erased one of the VIN numbers, but then the VIN is right beside it on the body shell and the Rego papers so is that really a concern regarding authenticity and value...?
