  1. Haha yes correct. I had the dash replaced with hopes to install a new replacement windscreen and finally get it registered... wasn't meant to be
  2. Thanks man. Where did you see it?
  3. Has anyone replaced the windscreen on their 968? I bought a generic replacement screen, only to find that it doesn't have the outer channel attached to the glass which is required for the external trim to clip into once the glass is installed. Seems like my only option is to buy a genuine windscreen... Will be interesting to see if anyone has had a similar experience.
  4. Yep I think that may be the way. Where can i see the photo?
  5. As the title states. Dash must be crack-free Windscreen must be original in good condition Located Sydney but can arrange freight if required.
  6. I didn't get the full engine number but it was definately 639 first 3 digits. Does the 79 engine have a 5 blade fan? This one had more than 5... Seemed a bit funny to me when I check the numbers Helps a lot thanks mate!
  7. Update: So I viewed the car this arvo, chassis no was along the lines of 91A0131... Engine no 639... Car presents well overall, not concourse. Obvious question is the chassis number is not of the same sequence as those posted by Diamond911. Any input would be great
  8. Thanks for the info guys. The only problem is I don't have a lot of info on the car other than that it is a 79 Aussie car. It is quite a distance away so I'm just trying to gather as much info as I can so I can do the right checks when I actually physically inspect the car
  9. Thanks for the info that is really helpful. I will most certainly use your info when I am inspecting the car this weekend. What's the general price guide these days for an Aussie 911 targa in today's market?
  10. Hi all,I'm looking at purchasing a 1979 911 Targa. I just wanted to get your feedback as to what I should look out for and what the vin number and engine numbers should read. I had a look online and there's not a lot of info for aus delivered cars Any special options I should look out for and what's everyone's thoughts on targa's? I know recently the coupes are all the rage Thanks in advance for your feedbackNed

  12. Hey all, Looking at getting something with a nicer note and a clean flush look. Anyone running an aftermarket exhaust on their 944? Ned
  13. May look too 'common' but silver just works best I think

  15. Hey Rob, where's the best place to buy the clear indicators?
