  1. Ummm.......Pete Was the choice of background in your 'winter wonderland' shot above deliberate?
  2. Finally! I'm glad you're up and running Pete. Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh sometime soon.
  3. To suit '84 911 targa.
  4. Ripper car David, congrats! Looking forward to more SMTs. Me keep up? 🤣
  5. Phew! Out of the foetal/fetal position now.........
  6. Far out man! The only reason I have my Porsche is to go on Caver's drives. What am I supposed to do now?
  7. Better late than never, Yes Tingy, 1.5 inch bypass pipe welded in a little after our run with Caver west of Sydney. During our run, car a little muted anything north of 4k revs. Kept having to crane my head sideways to hear where I was at tachometer wise if you get my drift. Gundo well and truly fixed that.
  8. Tingy Have you decided on the diameter of the pipe being welded in? I've gone for 1.5 inch diameter on the advice of a seasoned expert from a YouTube video posted in another thread and haven't looked back. Mind you, my donk is a 3.4 litre. Totally uneducated opinion here but assuming yours is a 3.6 litre, 1.75 inch diameter may be the go. When done and if you're still hankering for a little more "theatre" you may want to consider replacing the factory catastrophic converters with sportier equivalents. Either way, you'll love it.
  9. I agree and was hoping nobody would notice. Price reduction for the offensive photo. Now $4500.

  11. Great looking car Tingy, welcome to the 996 ownership club. As for the "Hilux grey" interior, mine's the same, it grows on ya. Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh and comparing notes. A Caver inspired weekend away is overdue!
