  1. Thanks Chris, and it was great to catch up with everyone and their amazing cars again.šŸ‘šŸ»
  2. Well done to all involved in organising HB2, it was hands down the most interesting car event I have ever attended. Every corner you turned had another amazing car! Iā€™m am lost for words, great venue, great cars and great work! Looking forward to HB3 already!šŸ‘šŸ»
  3. Thanks guys, My thoughts are around the $40k mark for this car. The issue, is he sees the cars on carsales asking $70k plus and thinks that his car is worth the same. I did see a real nice version of a 1974 911 Targa sell for $55k at Shannons in Sydney a month ago and it looked like it just rolled off the production line. I have mentioned to him a car in original condition, with a low build number and Australian delivered may be more desirable and condone higher prices. But these are just my thoughts
  4. Hi Fellow Pcar enthusiasts, I have the opportunity to purchase a 74 911 targa off a friend, it is a great runner, no longer painted the original colour, believe it was a UK import in the 1980ā€™s. I would be looking at restoring it back to a factory looking car meaning removing whale tail, incorrect wheels, interior colour and paint colour. Is there anybody that can give me a ball park price of what it may be worth? Or put me on to somebody. I want to be fair to the seller as well as myself. thanks in advance Danny 996 Cab
  5. Rims : 6.5 x 16 pcd 5x130 thanks Danny
  6. Hi guys, I'm looking for 4 wheels any condition to fit a mid 70's 911. At this stage I only need wheels to move my car around from a to b while I restore it so I'm not wanting anything too good or expensive. What's out there ? Thanks Danny
  7. I have owned my 996 for 4 years now and like turboT mentioned it is a joy to drive. It doesn't matter how good or bad a day I have as soon as I'm in my 996 I forget about everything and enjoy the car for what it is. It's a shame they are tared with the IMS brush as they are really great to drive and I constantly get comments on how nice the car is. I have often thought if I sold my 996 cab what would I buy? 996TT, GT3 996 , 997 series 1. Then I hop in my car and forget about it again. Enjoy your pcars everybody old or new
  8. I went for a Spin and bumped into 4 nice early 911's in Keilor Rd, Niddrie. I didn't stop, however they looked very clean and well looked after.
  9. Can anybody tell me what this plaque means. Apart from options , does it recognise the year it was delivered/imported etc... Tia
  10. I like the idea, I wanted to ask if there is a way to find out from an early 911 Chassis number if the car is an Australian delivery.
  11. Gave my car a bath and fitted the Hardtop for the Winter
