  1. Hi all! As the title says, I’ve been a member since 2016 but haven’t posted on the boards. 5 or so years ago I bought my second car, a 1984 Carrera 3.2. The car is a factory right hand drive import with 70,000 Miles on the clock. Its had steel 930 flares added and otherwise is pretty standard. For the first few years of ownership I thrashed the car around the Tamworth area and generally enjoyed it. But a change in work circumstances and commitments, plus the financial pressure of a mortgage, has seen the car stuck in storage for a few years. That brings us to today. I’ve just moved to Bathurst, and the old girl is now tucked away in my double car garage ready to be worked on. Nice to meet you all and see you in my build thread.
  2. Hi all, I recently posted over in the introduction section. I joined in 2016 but never posted anything, as I felt I didn’t have too much to share! I bought my 1984 Carrera when I was 22, and it spent the first years in my hands getting driven hard around the Tamworth area. Work and other excuses got in the way and the cars been mothballed for three years. But I’ve just moved to Bathurst and I’m hopefully now in a position to start tumbling down the slippery slope of 911 ownership/repair/modification. I’ll just start with a teaser photo of the car as it sat a few weeks ago prior to the big move. Nice to meet you all and would love to get to know if there is anyone nearby (especially if you can spin a wrench and you’re happy to teach), as I’ll probably need all the help I can get. Cheers.
  3. I read with great pleasure that a few PFA members will be attending the 2018 Bathurst 12 hour. Spirit of Racing are proudly sponsoring the Group S class at Bathurst and will be having a trade stand in the Group S paddock. Please come down and say hello as it will be a great opportunity to meet and have chat. See you all soon - not long to go....... Evan
  4. Anyone going to Bathurst for Easter ? http://bathurstmotorfestival.com.au/uncategorized/group-n-historic-tourers-complete-massive-festival-program/ This looks like a great event with PCNSW is running a regularity event over the weekend with P clubs from around Oz competing with plenty of other categories racing around Mt Panorama. ie. F3, Group N historics, Formula vee, production tourers (This legendary track is not just the preserve of the bogan attracting V8's. ) If you want to go, then get in quick and book accomodation real soon. There's camping at the track too. Maybe if there were a few going then we could travel in convoy from Melbourne, Sydney, wherever.
  5. Something to do tonight. http://www.carreracup.com.au/customPages/2012
