  1. Hi All. Looking for expressions of interest in participating in our next social hillclimb day down at Haunted Hills' Bryant Park on Sunday 20th October 2019. We intentionally refer to these events as "social" because there is no timing, or pressure to drive beyond one's own abilities. We welcome drivers who may not have driven in any kind of track/circuit event before, and are interested to experience what their cars can do in a safe environment. When we take lap times out of the equation, the conversation and socialising becomes far more relaxed and non-competitive. As per the first 2 events, many of us will be going on the Saturday afternoon, dining together, and then retiring to the local motel before meeting for the driver briefing at 8am the next morning. When: Sunday 20th October (compulsory driver briefing 8am, 4pm finish at latest) Where: John Bryant Park, Haunted Hills, Yallourn. (click this link to see the track) Who: PFA Financial Members (if you're not a FM, it's $25 p.a.) Cost: $190 full day (breakfast, coffee and lunch are available on-site, at very reasonable prices) If this is of interest to you, please register your interest as a post below, or if you're definitely in, fill in the online form to confirm your spot - we are looking for a minimum of 20 drivers, so tell a PFA FM friend! FORM TO REGISTER FOR THE DAY If you have any questions about the event, or how the day is run, don't hesitate to PM me to ask and discuss... [PM: Kerry] If you're interested in being involved, but not driving, we are looking for people to assist with scrutineering, marshalling, and a recovery vehicle and driver... no previous experience is required, please PM me if you're interested in helping out. 2. Hi All, Back in April we ran a trial event out at Bryant Park (Haunted Hills) for a social hill climb event. If you haven't had an opportunity to visit it is well worth the drive, it offers a driving experience unlike any other local track offers. Tight, low (ish) speed and definitely favours more of a technical approach - not a flat out high speed affair at all.............perfect playground for little Porscha's! So after a wait and some more planning we are looking make this an official PFA event and welcome any members who want to join us. Its a great opportunity to explore your cars ability in a an environment that offers; single car on track at a time, low speed, short duration (low impact on car and driver) and there will also be an opportunity for instruction if that is of interest. So the details are; When: Sunday 7th October (exact times t.b.c.) Where: John Bryant Park, Haunted Hills, Morwell. Who: PFA Financial Members Cost: $180 full day FORM TO REGISTER FOR THE DAY For a taste of what you’re actually in for, here is our last day at Haunted Hills:
