  1. I did a bit of paint correction today. Firstly, a bit of context. I had a tow bar fitted to the new daily drive this week and in the process of removing and re-fitting the rear bumper there were a few smears and light scuffs on the otherwise perfect paint finish. This is not a complaint against the mechanic as he was careful, but some marks are inevitable. Also, he unwittingly made it a little worse by trying to wipe off a few greasy marks resulting in a long smear along the rear quarter panel. These marks were not immediately visible until i got home and parked it under a bright light. I'm fortunate to work along-side some of the best car body fabricators who specialise in show cars and related high quality projects. Their advice... Juice Swirl Remover will fix it. It's usually applied with a polishing wheel for a full panel surface but as I was only touching up, applying by hand was the go. Using a new microfibre cloth to apply and then a clean m/f cloth to buff off. It spread cleanly and required only light pressure to do it's work. This product does not have any waxes or fillers so the paint requires a coat of what ever product you like after the paint is repaired. This is easily the best result I have had using any car polish. The result was a flawless finish.
  2. Hey, Anyone have a good polish and clay recommendation? Ideally something that's available locally (ie Autobarn etc.) as I would ideally like to pick something up tomorrow. Any good suggestions welcomed including tips and tricks for best results! Cheers, Hugh.
  3. Hey all, I had my car paint corrected and polished last week and I just wanted to share the results. If you are looking for a detailer in the Brisbane / Gold Coast area I can't recommend Jayde from Dulvari Prestige enough. He was very professional, a surgeon with the polisher and extremely knowledgeable. I certainly got my money's worth and the car looks amazing. Unfortunately just before he finished the car the weather moved in so yesterday afternoon was my first chance to get it out of the garage and get some photos.... So I am very happy with the results! If you are looking to get your car detailed, give Jayde a call - 0414 501 706. Oh and Thanks Quozl for giving me Jaydes number!
