Pork Chops Posted 7February, 2018 Author Report Share Posted 7February, 2018 Wheels the Skunky boys are experimenting with finishes on. This is 5mm stainless that get polished up all shiney. Broadly it’s to be used in conjunction with the rear engine mounting bar. Don’t ask me for more details.

Pork Chops Posted 12February, 2018 Author Report Share Posted 12February, 2018 So it turns out that piece is something the fabricated in place of the factory ‘console’. Apart from extra bling I think it might offer better serviceability / visibility, but either way it’s nice to have a custom piece. Didn’t ask for it (but we didn’t have the factory part to hand) so assume it’s a trial of some sort! Once the correct bolts are ordered it will be polished and fitted off properly, soft brake lines, pedal box and gauges fitted and it’s off to the auto elec to get wired up. Pork Chops Posted 12February, 2018 Author Report Share Posted 12February, 2018 You’re all so mean... As an update the custom console was needed as none of the factory items fit due to 3.6 in IB car unless you cut and re-weld the rear engine mount bar which they didn’t want to do as I got a spunky one from Patrick. Also the relief holes are so you can replace a broken belt without removing anything. The piece was hand cut as it was a prototype but would be hydrocut ordinarily. Damienb Posted 23February, 2018 Report Share Posted 23February, 2018 Nice short list. Aubergine doesn't do it for me. Leaf green and stone grey are the standouts IMO.
TwoHeadsTas Posted 23February, 2018 Report Share Posted 23February, 2018 Signal Yellow is prime pick, I quite like the Aubergine, Leaf Green is the only one of the greens that does anything for me....
Coastr Posted 23February, 2018 Report Share Posted 23February, 2018 1 Aubergine/Silver 2 Jade 3 Summer Pass on the rest, particularly the washed-out greens and greys

Pork Chops Posted 23February, 2018 Author Report Share Posted 23February, 2018 @StevepGT3 lol. So true and a great analogy. As for the rest of youse FFS can we get some consensus! I think Sea & Leaf Green and Sand Beige are out for me. Auratium is a more modest shade of green than Jade, which depending on my mood is both good and bad. Aubergine is really doing it for me and I can't wait to model Albert Blue for another dark option. I love Summer Yellow, as I do Light Yellow, but it has more cream and less 'acid', but LY was an RSR colour...Stone Grey. I've been moist about this colour for a while now. So as you can see this is an exercise in entertainment rather than decision making!
