Particularly with them approaching / over 25 years. Bonham's just sold an artic silver 993TT at the Goodwood auction for 85,000 pounds ($159k AUD). Agreed ! ... the prices that people are willing to fork out for these 993's our market are insanely high compared with other geo's notwithstanding the dynamics of the supply/demand factor. Check this out ..... last month in the US ... what looks like a very nice 1996 manual 993 4S with just over 100k on the clock sold for under AUD$200k. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1996-porsche-911-carrera-c4s-aero-kit-6-speed/ Same car give or take here asking $310K ( revised down after a couple of months listed ) https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/porsche/911/993-series/manual-transmission/?sort=TopDeal All I can say is if you have a 993 and believe in the old adage of everything for sale at the right price .... go for it ! ... jackpot time if you want to cash in and buy back in some stage later down the track. Lucky Phil Posted 10August, 2021 Report Share Posted 10August, 2021 I have this one in my saved list^^^. I want to see if it sells. There is also another red CS in Melb for mid 600's. Even if I win Powerball on Thursday I think I would pass at that price.

Mate I don’t think anyone can knowingly answer…. Both cool, likely quite correlated in price movements. 964 petit narrow body. 993 petit and curvy. 993 also has the more modern 996 and 997 type rear suspension setup etc etc as they evolve. A bit like the jump the latest 992 GT3 front setup just made over the 991 GT3 - it’s a decent change. 993 C2S manual are now selling over $300k though. The sliver one on carsales at AHH listed at $349k and sold for approx $340 and they also sold off market another one (blue I think) for same coin last week….. Buy one you like and enjoy! Thommo66 Posted 2September, 2021 Report Share Posted 2September, 2021 A red one of these 993 Turbo's was listed around a week ago in SA asking $400k. Aust delivered - guards red manual. <100k on the clock. Looked pretty mint. Must have sold pretty close to asking $. Check this out ... listed a few days ago: https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1996-porsche-911-turbo-993-manual-awd/SSE-AD-7392698/?Cr=2 Another classic but in this case left hand drive imported. And very different asking $. What do you think the warranted market value delta is given the differences ? Significant $ difference to still be driving one of the all time great air cooled classics !
