Starting to get to know this alternate route to the Hume as I am doing it every three weeks for work, its hard job in a 400hp work ute but I think I will suffer though it.

Thought I would share, great drive in the highlands with almost no traffic but plenty of locusts this time of year.

You may need the app to see.

PFA should have its own app like this too me thinks @Kerry.

Think we need a long distance SMT soon.

Thoughts ?

Yep not a bad run along with a few other roads in the area. Found some sections to be a bit rough in the R. Needs a few more corners for my taste.

Thanks for the feedback there @Redracn, are we talking about the same route here. I found just the opposite, road has the perfect mix between twisties, straights and smooth roads. Have you driven this exact route just to confirm this is not the traditional hi-way route.

Yep driven that as well as over towards Seymour. To me straights are the necessary evil to connect corners together but that is just my personal opinion. The Cayman R is made for corners but the lowered sport suspension really feels the road so I guess what is rough depends on the car and the drivers/passengers tolerance and is subjective.
