Meh

id prefer a more subtle appearance.  quite like these

I love the CSR look. Trying to achieve something similar myself, although probably minus the ducktail to keep cost down.  And will use OEM bumper and side skirts rather than the carbon ones on the CSR.

Just buy a 996 C4S, Porsche already did the "hotrod" 996 coupe. No ugly holes in the side or superfluous rear wing. A handsome fat arsed,clean, un-cluttered, classic shaped ride (I may be biased).

Find a bit more grunt, drill some holes, add some stickers, sand paper the steering wheel & seats (= patina), badabing I'm the new Magnus Walker. Job done. Next.

for some reason the front doesn't seem to be built well . kinda wavey? isit meant to be like that?

There is a RWB 996 - http://speedhunters-wp-production.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Larry_Chen_idlers12hours_tml-50.jpg

Which i'd prefer the look of, if you're going to go that route, go full japanese.

Also there's no doubt 996's will be the next hot rods platform, everything else is too expensive to tinker/mess with.

I'm not keen on that bodykit but hotrodding a 996 or 7 sound like a plan.

I agree.

definitely not.

911 is all about class! This is anything but..

About class? It's about a sports car surely?

I love every aspect of the 996 C4S other than the front end. I may be alone in this (and am definitely in the minority) but I prefer the 996.1 front end (especially with a GT3/Aero bumper)
