Philbee Posted 24February, 2017 Report Share Posted 24February, 2017 A few plastic panels & wheel spacers doth not maketh a hotrod I say... I need more @symsy...And as per other comments, not sure it looks that great either.
Ozvino Posted 24February, 2017 Report Share Posted 24February, 2017 Just like an RWB, a blind man would love to see it - P.O.S if you ask me - KIA school of design...... True hot-rodding, different story

D2000 Posted 24February, 2017 Report Share Posted 24February, 2017 Mehid prefer a more subtle appearance. quite like thesehttps://rpmtechnik.co.uk/csr-conversions/996-csr/ I love the CSR look. Trying to achieve something similar myself, although probably minus the ducktail to keep cost down. And will use OEM bumper and side skirts rather than the carbon ones on the CSR. Arnage Posted 25February, 2017 Report Share Posted 25February, 2017 Just buy a 996 C4S, Porsche already did the "hotrod" 996 coupe. No ugly holes in the side or superfluous rear wing. A handsome fat arsed, clean, un-cluttered, classic shaped ride (I may be biased).Find a bit more grunt, drill some holes, add some stickers, sand paper the steering wheel & seats (= patina), badabing I'm the new Magnus Walker. Job done. Next.
quasio Posted 25February, 2017 Report Share Posted 25February, 2017 for some reason the front doesn't seem to be built well . kinda wavey? isit meant to be like that? There is a RWB 996 - http://speedhunters-wp-production.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Larry_Chen_idlers12hours_tml-50.jpgWhich i'd prefer the look of, if you're going to go that route, go full japanese. Also there's no doubt 996's will be the next hot rods platform, everything else is too expensive to tinker/mess with. I may be alone in this (and am definitely in the minority) but I prefer the 996.1 front end (especially with a GT3/Aero bumper)
