Kerry Posted 26March, 2017 Report Share Posted 26March, 2017 Yip. Doug had suggested Mart 130 as it has a good sized carpark, centrally located (about 5 minutes from the ferry), but as the GrandPrix just finished there, not sure how clear it will be by Sunday... why not leave it open and we stuck back on the mainland will sort out the venue?https://www.google.com.au/maps/place/Mart+130/@-37.8495895,144.9656195,19.07z/data=!4m13!1m7!3m6!1s0x6ad667e1dead25bd:0x5045675218ce8a0!2sAlbert+Park+VIC+3206!3b1!8m2!3d-37.842!4d144.95!3m4!1s0x0:0x5a1f3044f9c29e2b!8m2!3d-37.8495738!4d144.9656349 btw: IN
Niko Posted 27March, 2017 Report Share Posted 27March, 2017 To the Tassy wanderers, please accept our apologies that some of us Vic PFA'ers can't meet and greet you when you dock back in Melb.12 of us Mexicans have our 3 day run happening, and we will be a couple of hundred K from you on Sunday morning. So please don't think we are being anti social, that's just the way the dates fell unfortunately. As I said before.... have a great and safe trip, and again our apologies.Niko polorot and Ozvino

Kerry Posted 30March, 2017 Report Share Posted 30March, 2017 Just spoke to Richard at Mart 130 who has confirmed that although there are still a few Grand Prix "portables" around, there will be enough parking for us (up to 25-30 cars if need be) and room around the corner for overflow). He also thought that between today and Sunday more will be gone and room cleared. He will be serving coffee from 7.15 and brekkie from 7.30/40 onwards, so it all looks good!Opposite the Middle Park Hotel on Armstrong St, enter heading south (toward St Kilda) and turn left and under the tramline via a tunnel!https://www.google.com.au/maps/place/Mart+130/@-37.8495895,144.9656195,19.07z/data=!4m13!1m7!3m6!1s0x6ad667e1dead25bd:0x5045675218ce8a0!2sAlbert+Park+VIC+3206!3b1!8m2!3d-37.842!4d144.95!3m4!1s0x0:0x5a1f3044f9c29e2b!8m2!3d-37.8495738!4d144.9656349 GUT, Mike-S, Mike737 and 4 others

Mike-S Posted 1April, 2017 Report Share Posted 1April, 2017 I reckon it'll be 7.30 before we're off the boat anyway, we're on one of the 'lifted' decks so will have to wait for those underneath to disembark first. Looks like a mob from Duttons are also on our deck next to our real cars.... GUT and Stew F

Midnight 911 Posted 1April, 2017 Report Share Posted 1April, 2017 No, not Aughtie drive....Head south on Canterbury and turn left into underpass of tram line. It's very easy to miss, but is just before tram station/cafe. Philbee
