NBTRV8 looks like you made the Tassie Car Spotters facebook page again today.  must be driving that car too much 🙂

That is its first spot, the other one was the local MKII.

The photo was taken in my work, I'll check on the CCTV tomorrow who took it...

Spot the Spotter.  Mr Tassie Car Spotters himself with his blue 320i.  Somebody must have tipped him off as you can't see it clearly from the road.

@NBTBRV8 I think that you looked at this black one before deciding on your Red car.  It appears to be the best buy on Car Sales at the moment has CS package too.  Did you drive it?   There is also a Red one at Nick T that looks ok too.  Based on your purchase is there wiggle room on either car?

The NT car needs Stamp duty added approx $11338 so price drive away would be $2360 dearer than the black one (more klms and no CS as well so Black seems the better car.  Your thoughts on both would be appreciated

Well your options just got easier, the NT car is now listed as sold.  I'd be interested to know what it went for as I have watched this car since Lamborghini Brisbane had it.

Brighton are really keen to move the black car but from what they told me it is getting close to what it owes them which I can believe given when they bought it and that it has new rotors on it, plus they have to sell with a warranty.  I had Canberra ship my car to Brighton and collected it from there, Brighton were ok with it as they knew for my circumstances even though their car was cheaper, the Canberra car was better "value" for me.  I did have a quick look at it though.  It is a very base optioned MY14 car and I daily mine so I wanted more options, but if that doesn't bother you then it isn't an issue.  The car has PPF over the front bar, up the sills and over the leading edge of the roof.  I can't remember if it was on the bonnet, but I think it was only up 1/3 of the way.

The car has Dunlop Sport Max tyres, and I think they were part worn, given how these only have ~7,000km life from new, I expect they'd want to be replaced within a few thousand.  The car was clean inside as you'd expect, I notice that the previous owner didn't get in and out of it cleanly, so the seat bolster has crease lines in it.

I am not sure what else I can add on the black one.

Yes the Mk 1 market is pretty light on so I have moved on to the next generation.  4 ltr sounds better than 3.8 ltr too

I like the look of this one

Also comes with an engine that won't detonate at some point down the track too. Not an issue for flippers, but I wouldn't go past the 10 yr mark.

What do you intend to use the car for, thus what type of car are you looking for?

A mk2 is no doubt a better car, I just couldn't afford one.  If I could, I'd be buying a manual without a really top spec PDK car was just too good to miss out on.

PDK is rubbish around town, but good for when pressing on.

So 991.2 is now attainable in mid 3's perhaps even low 3's depending on your haggling skills... most interesting, I guess we shall await 992 GT3 details shortly to watch it go further south?

Look for 991.1 to be worth less than 997.2. Could be a good pick up for a few years of track work, then ditch when you get to 8-9yrs.

Gee haven't checked car sales for a while and voila, they've dropped again. $33x for 991.2 clubsport now.  Wow, they were high 3s not so long ago.  992 looming?

It makes me smile to see the flippers caught holding the bag for once ... is that wrong? :Chuckle2:

Just human, Australian. I personally am happy for anyone to spend their cash or take a risk to take any legal and moral opportunity to make a quick or big buck
