I know what you mean - I really regret selling my 996 GT3 a couple of months ago....

What the hell do you replace it with🤢

There is very little in a sports car that appeals to be sub $300k now that the market has shifted up.  Three year old GT3s are dearer now than two years ago, so effectively I've gotten poorer :(

I can’t understand why that car is still sitting other than it is what would be considered high KM . I find it strange what is thought as high km in the GT3 world

It has sat for so long I doubt they’ll achieve asking price.  If I was in the market I’d be offering 270 and let them tell me to go away........or give me a different number.

as for kms I agree, I don’t care it it’s 6000 or 16000km, I’d plan on putting plenty more in anyway.

New one in Crayon grey . Guessing it has seen a bit of work on the track . The rotors look like brand spankers

Please don't send us any silly offers this car is priced correctly.

Sounds like a  non-motivated seller

Team

i see a few references on the post to “high km” in 991 GT3s.

familiar with “normal” P car stuff, had just assumed that the Megzler GT3 engines would be bullet proof and just get in and drive stuff.

Yes a rebuild will be more than a bog stock 911 but is there any reason (other than depreciation / resale) to suggest why you would not just buy a 991 GT3 and put 200,000km on it having the time of your life (assuming you follow the factory service schedule).

Have a friend looking at a 991.2 GT3. Is that cup car engine any more fragile / maintenance hungry than prior engines ?

No a vast improvement over previous motor . Porsche were not taking any chances and put a lot of money into development of the .2 motor after the failure of the previous model

That was the same spec as NevB's car.  I recall seeing this photo before, so it has been on the market before.

My car is in Geelong, but yes, very similar spec.

And $40,000 more expensive - I missed the covid bump!

I see this one is still for sale after being notified it was Sold on car sales a while back now.  Or finance may have fallen through as someone pointed out to me.

The colour combination is unique which is good to see.
