Thanks for the intel. I gave him a call today and am waiting on some more pics. Shame I missed out on the 991.1 in Melbourne which had the replaced warranty engine in there already. Didn’t have my ducks in a row in time.

The white one in Melboune is still for sale he removed it from CS as he has been shocked by the questions around the engine along with the inevitable market valuations.

Seems the 991.1RS can suffer from similar issues to the GT3

Just spoke with a connection whom informed me that a 991.1RS just went pop at Sandown on the weekend - warranty approved very quickly which is good to know.

Same engine design, just a slightly lower redline basically.

You can't blame them for selling into this market it feels like this may well be a window of opportunity for the guys that purchased .1's  new or paid over 300k for them around 3 years ago.

It will be the uninformed that will look at purchasing these cars at anywhere near these prices. I think Chris's offer on the low km .1 club sports at $220K is the highest I have heard in awhile.

Very nice .2 at a very reasonable price.

And here is the complete opposite end of pricing...

Ambitious pricing bordering rude:

More $$ than new..?

Even a little misleading with the vehicle description. "GT3 TOURING..."

I agree.  That grey car has been for sale on and off for a while at well over the market rate.

That ad made me laugh this morning no one is buying that .
pricing of GT3 s are all over the place

996 GT3 $140 to $180

997 GT3 $170 to $220

991.1 GT3 $220 to $250 if lucky

991.2 GT3 $270 to $330

I presume you are speculating that these are the current prices deals have been done with, not asking prices?

Do you sit the 997.2 in the 997 range above too, or is that it’s own beast? (Not a lot to go on apart from the wild $320k ask that’s been sitting on Carsales).
