It looks as though there is damage to the centre console, near the driver's side seat belt buckle on the Agate grey 991.2 car in Adelaide.

Would this be caused by 6pt harness buckle??  Thoughts.

Looks like he straps into the 6 point harness to go to Woolies 😂. And doesn’t like vacuuming.

992 GT3 Launch 1am this Wednesday( Melbourne time) - here is the link to the live stream for those interested

https://newsroom.porsche.com/media-package/porsche-911-gt3-world-premiere-livestream-

I heard they’ll be 400k+ and so $300k 991s are all going to rocket up to $350k overnight......😂. Then I can sell and buy a 992.

How bizarre, no radio, no nav and a big hole in the dash.  Odd decision when deciding the spec for a $450k car

I have been at the ring in person while the car was testing. It’s a deeper sound. At lower revs it’s a little bit like a GT2 sound. The high end shrill you refer to is not the same as the 991. It definitely sounds different but no less great.

If you want a small sample of the sound, go to 1:15 in this video.

To be expected the new 992 GT3 offers lots of tasty improvements and performance upgrades over the older 991 versions I particularly love the interior. I’m  really looking forward to seeing a few in the flesh anyone here ordered one ?

That REAR

An early opinion i think the rear end of the 992 is a lot more cohesive in its design than the outgoing 991 almost makes the spoiler of the older car look like its just tacked on .

Sell me your 991 😂😂

seriously though this base car is nuts its like the outgoing RS

how are they going to step things up for the new RS or are we returning to the 997 era where there is little difference between base and RS models 🤔

992 GT3 is 4s slower than 991.2 RS so they won’t have to go crazy to sneak ahead of the old RS.

Agreed, however as an overall package the base car (GT3) has a lot of good bits which are more commonly associated with the RS. more so than the out going 😬😉

Not quite. It’s 1 second faster than the .2 RS.  They now do a full lap of the ring that’s circa 5 secs longer. That was the 992s published time. They also mentioned the time to compare to the old official ring times and it was a 55? The .2 RS did a 56 ?? So yeah, they have their work cut out to make the RS make a further leap forward.

This makes the 1400km Purple car look cheap even if that is sans PCCB

Also the dealer has just advised me that they can't take 992 GT3 orders until the pricing is released by PCA on 1st April. They have a lot of expressions of interest in though.

For those that are interested in a .2 GT3, Jake at Porsche Centre Brighton has a clubsport (I think) coming in with 60km on it.  Make contact with him, he is a good guy to deal with.

Is this the black one from Ferrari Richmond?
