DJM Posted 2September, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 2September, 2017 Welcome to the GT4 club. From a dealer, where's the pics ?Thanks guys.Since offloading the GT2 and Photobucket shitting itself, I haven't had a need for a hosting site. Imgur?Meanwhile:- white with charcoal rims- bought from PCM "Porsche Approved"- PCM will remove Martini stickers and detail before delivery. At least I think I want the stickers off. That's probably a whole new thread...- love the alcantara and leather interior option (leather dash, tops of doors etc). Thanks for the tip @Chris-p. - Passenger footwell net and smokers package (console cover). Again @Chris-p suggested- manual seats very comfy for my barge arse (sat in carbon buckets in Boxster Spyder - yeah, nah, look great but they're not for me, 18 ways would be good but not a deal breaker)For whatever reason I LOVED the test drive much more than the 997 GT3. Similar money but felt more special somehow. Merger schmezger, goes and sounds awesome.FWIW P/O pre traded on a 991.2 GT3 allocation.those to blame:- my wife - when I showed her $50k 987 Cayman S I was thinking of buying, she said "what's special about it?" - hmm, ok, yep. So what you're saying is spend more on something rare? Well trained after 964C2 and 996 GT2 ♥️♥️- @Niko posted the white Duttons car which prompted me to go check it out- some dude parked his white GT4 in Main Street Mornington while Niko's post was fresh in mind - hawtit was meant to be..... DJM Posted 2September, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 2September, 2017 Only a couple of photos for now. One of my girls came for the ride, no idea I planned to actually BUY it ? +1. I wonder if they can peel them off and stick them back on paper and I can refit if I change my mind....nah, prefer the clean white look. My daughter said I'd look like a cashed up bogan if I left tje stickers. Out of the mouths of babes....?

symsy Posted 2September, 2017 Report Share Posted 2September, 2017 Do stickers later …I reckon… maybe add a colour combo not seen Cobat green or something on that Virgin white. Enjoy mate..
Apogee Posted 2September, 2017 Report Share Posted 2September, 2017 I prefer the sans stickers look myself (classy understated look) but those Martini stickers would have been at least a $500 option to put on.
DJM Posted 2September, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 2September, 2017 Identical to this once stickers go ??
MFX Posted 2September, 2017 Report Share Posted 2September, 2017 Ok, those stickers on the bonnet are even too much for me (they are huge!). Without is better.
LeeM Posted 2September, 2017 Report Share Posted 2September, 2017 Without, or like the one at Richmonds (with the red decals above), yet pure white does look clean
Jason A Posted 2September, 2017 Report Share Posted 2September, 2017 Well after boring you all with my musings over GT3 -> RX7 -> escort -> Datsun -> 986 Boxster-> 987 Cayman S -> frustration and back around again............you may notice there is one less GT4 on market as of this afternoon. Life's too short.Oh and to those wondering about Porsche Sport Driving, ill let you know, got that thrown into the deal. ??Congrarulation, a great car. Is on my list to own at some stage.Have chased one at a recent track day, it had very good track manners. Speed of the 996RS with more comfort.Enjoy
