Early cars lack power, then power increases, head studs on 2.7 and gearboxes not strong enough 915, then 964 rods and bolts are week - up to GT3. Then IMS on 996 and bore issues on 997 (except GT3 and Turbo), brakes and syncros on early GT3's etc.Modify your car and make it better. If you are buying cars and worrying about value - good luck, it's a tricky game.Buy, drive, leave as is, modify - long term you will have fun and probably break even on most P cars.
