Saving a Boxster

Wow really great to watch a master at work.  48 minutes but really addictive watching them work.  I would love to do that type of work.  The colour of that car at the end was simply stunning.  Makes me want to get my car done.  I am going outside to wash and polish it right now.

How much would something like that cost to have done?  I am thinking maybe $1500 to $2000.  They were on it for 3 days (4 days man hours because there were 2 guys working sometimes).  At $50/hr thats $1600 plus materials and parts.  Has to be $2000 plus

I got a ballpark quote from Exclusive Body Works in Granville Sydney to respray previous 987 Boxster S and the figure was around $7K.

Going rate for a stage 2 paint correction and protection seems to be about $1,200.  So wouldn't surprise me if a careful interior/exterior restoration like that was $2,000 plus.

Question is, which detailers 1.  have the ability to do work to that level; and 2.  would in fact do the work to that level without cutting corners

Yes those are the big questions.  The only person I know who would be that pedantic is me and that is my problem because if the job done was anything less than perfect then I would not be a happy chappy.  That is why I do my own house painting, repairs and woodwork around the house because I am so fussy.  Yes I know I have a problem but that is who am am and how I function.  It does cause me grief though from time to time.  Ok self analysis session over, just finished trimming all the hedges so as they are nice and square, now back to polishing the car.....

For a similar experience in Sydney use the best guy only. And I found him for you.

I have tried over 10 different detailers until Porsche Willoughby put me onto this bloke.  I thought one of my my cars needed a repray and I swear to god it came back looking new. A better restore than this boxster. Not cheap though worth every dollar. He is a masterful and looks after all my cars. I have won several show and shine days using him.

He has given me the confidence to order a new flat black GT3, He will also be ceramic sealing the paint once it comes in and he makes it perfect for sure.

Joseph Bascha, he calls himself a paint correction specialist, He does all of Porsche Willoughby`s issue cars.
