DJM Posted 29September, 2017 Report Posted 29September, 2017 I sold a red 964C2 manual a few years ago. VIN WPOZZZ96ZLS401004The guy I sold it to on sold it a few months later then I saw it for sale again in Sydney a while later. Just cleaning up my study today and I found a folder FULL of receipts dating back to 1991 including docs covering the import from South Africa 2011. I completely forgot I even had this. I’m sure the current owner of the car would love to have all of this so if anyone knows the owner, let me know and I’ll arrange to send the folder.cheers.PS to help narrow down the field - when I owned it, it was guards red, RS mirrors and front intakes, Carrera RS badge, RS steering wheel, factory sports seats (black leather), silver Cup2 wheels.

Not at all what I expected from the title of thread. Here I was, anticipating that your been really P whipped by your recent conversion across to the NA dark side and looking at a bit of back to the future to fill out an extra garage spot. Me thinks that folder is got to be worth more than a tax deductible express post parcel to an interstate P enthusiast.
hugh Posted 29September, 2017 Report Posted 29September, 2017 I've got a copy of what I believe was the last for sale listing (09/2015) but it unfortunately doesn't include the sellers contact no.
turboT Posted 29September, 2017 Report Posted 29September, 2017 remember that car being for sale last year. It was on an Autohaus drive up in the Hunter if it is the same car. Maybe Autohaus know the current owner?

I'm happy to pass it on, the owner before me cherished the car. He brought it across from South Africa when he migrated to Perth so most of the receipts are from pre 2011 in J'burg. Not one of those rusty UK imports! The file really completes the picture for the current owner. It would be a shame for folder and car to not get reconnected.

I'd respond with happy to oblige provided I can reimburse your postage, so whats your address and are you into red or white wine.

smit2100 Posted 2October, 2017 Report Posted 2October, 2017 Assuming the folder is disappointingly a tad heavy, unwieldy and under powered...Missing some words perhaps. .... = when compared to the folder that was placed in front of it after it was sold (In reverse chronological order doesn't Porsche 996GT2 come before Porsche 964C2)

vl gra Posted 2October, 2017 Report Posted 2October, 2017 Hmmm thinking about it. Might get the full service history off you, then track down the car and lowball him cause it has no service history and flip the car with full history
