npvpositive Posted 2December, 2017 Report Share Posted 2December, 2017 Why a 1969 in particular? Just curious. 70 and 71 have the 2.2 engine and because 69 was a transition year it can be a real pain in the ass to find certain pieces of trim, etc, that were only used in that year. Maybe that's the appeal?

pocketscience Posted 3December, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 3December, 2017 Yes I’ve seen the red one at classic throttle... I’m not necessarily after a museum piece - not at that price anyway. and why 1969..? well I’d like to celebrate a combined 50th birthday with it in a couple of years. Cairns888 Posted 3December, 2017 Report Share Posted 3December, 2017 Yes, it’s a good year. What’s your variant? Hot rod, original, converted. I will have my S for sale in the new year.

Got any pics of your S?

Amazing looking car - totally agreed, but I’m after something a little more original. I have my 993 for ball-tearing.
pocketscience Posted 22January, 2018 Author Report Share Posted 22January, 2018 Every response I've had to an ad on Gummy has asked what my budget is... I respond that I don't have a set budget, but happy to have a discussion (which is 100% true). Crickets... So my budget is now $1M but I'm still only going to pay what a car is actually worth... Mike D'Silva Posted 22January, 2018 Report Share Posted 22January, 2018 A bit like asking an agent what the asking price for a house is, that is listed without a price...
