ET997 Posted 5February, 2018 Report Share Posted 5February, 2018 I am based in Sydney and am looking for advice / recommendations on installation of Mobridge Bluetooth system in my recently acquired 997.1. Would also like to get an idea of approximate cost. Thanks in advance.
porky Posted 20February, 2018 Report Share Posted 20February, 2018 Chris Green installed my Mobridge system. Contact him on 0418440938. Can't remember the cost but it was reasonable.
ET997 Posted 27February, 2018 Author Report Share Posted 27February, 2018 Thanks for your reply. I have reached out to Chris. The lack of bluetooth connectivity is probably the only drawback of the 997.1 based on my experience thus far.
Fraz Posted 28February, 2018 Report Share Posted 28February, 2018 Mobridge ? Is this what your talking about, I’m guessing it integrates Bluetooth into your standard head unit. http://www.mobridge.com.au/compatibility/vehicles/19/13146/13147/13144
Dåvjdyå†es Posted 28February, 2018 Report Share Posted 28February, 2018 I used to have a 997.1 and installed the Pioneer Apple CarPlay system with Microphone. I found that to be excellent

Sorry I thought that’s what I asked. Excuse my complete ignorance on this but to quote this link “The mObridge DA3 Digital Signal Processor is a revolutionary method of integrating high-end aftermarket audio components with the factory radio” http://www.mobridge.com.au/products/most-da3-dsp-professional So you have your stock 996-7 head unit, buy this device, plug it in and it enables your stock head unit to have Bluetooth phone connectivity. Yes ? Yes. It seems I confused myself and you - apologies. I haven’t got it installed yet but as I understand, it lets you call and stream music from your iPhone - and uses the standard head unit.
