I got a bit worried when I saw you pouring too much petrol into the carbi. One of my mates (Bernard - a firey) set fire to himself doing it that way.

Lucky Jeff is a firey then......or not ????

Hi Jeff.  What brand orbital polisher did you buy?  Rupes?, or another brand?  Were you happy with it?

I bought a Rupes Bigfoot as well. I was pretty happy with it, but I have only used it for about half an hour. I need a lot more practice, but I should get that on the 911 and on the Z.

Buy a new carb and put us out of misery!! :)

It’s still learning- learning to take the best remaining approach.

btw have you tested warm vs cold compression?  Could it be something like that instead of carb mixing? Hard starting can be compression related.
