Nah seems I might need to put wheel shine on and potentially talk about the vin number and scarcity perhaps and that's gonna be a new year journey with car sales probably, with the lack of PPI venues, not that it needs it.but it maybe adds to challenge ...  I will sell the MK1 escort instead.. I need space.... will have to put the tyre kickers call out on the winds.

This might be the best.. if you want really low kms .. 20 less than mine.

At that price km will remain 20 less than yours

Antonio has blinged it up with a sticker kit and put another $10K on it

So now he only $70-80k over priced to where it will "actually sell" ... less the "stickers" seems like marketing genius?

I think $220,000 and below is the magic numbers for these cars to sell by the look of the market

Fair point, none of the 997s have been moving. With 6s moving quickly at 170-180 I find it difficult to see another 70-80K in a 997.1 just for pretty round headlights.

I agree with most of his comments... i think alcohol takes full affect on him towards the end

Wow Spaghetti Ferretti really lost the plot there. I agree alcohol definitely playing a part.

I gather they film 4 or 5 of those videos in the day they are there, so that must have been much later in the day ;)

Anyone can do it sober! 😜

Agree though, the 997 GT3 is the best all rounder!

Part of his charm is his whole YT channel is a massive piss take. A lot of reading between the lines with him!

Yep I heard sometimes up to 10 stories in a sitting. Fair game

Gone,

Still some wishful thinking on those prices I feel , I think they should climb in price at some point but not yet

230-250k I think more realistic and my car was better spec

Lets face it the its always big fish in small pond with the market here and scarcity rules.. in the UK and some other markets they are less flamboyant and mildly thrashing.

Covid and the government propping up a fake reality has a lot to answer for , lets see when the bank mortgage holidays and job keeper/saver and the manage your income with cash money syndrome settles in ... in March what the real reality of this market is all about.  Sellers game at the moment..

If you got money you have nothing to worry about  I guess..

I agree, I think prices will tick down a notch by mid year. Not tumble, but certainly not sustain the madness they have. Clearly it’s already coming to a bit of a close as the 997s are sitting despite sellers dropping their prices. I am keep to jump back into the GT market but not at current inflated prices.

I offered $220k on some 991.1’s GT3’s and got laughed at. Will see what the future brings. Maybe a 997.1 GT3 is where the smart money is at anyway.

With the 992 coming soon, it’s got to put downward pressure on all previous generations. There are only so many people who are prepared to shell out that much coin for an old vehicle with no mod cons or warranty when there is a nice newish carrot dangling for similar coin (e.g. 991). Thus the older 996 and 997 are somewhat niche in my opinion. We on these forums are enthusiasts but not everyone views the older cars the way we might.
