NEED BACK TYRES FIRST TO SEE WILL BUY. REGO DEC 2021 NOTHING TO SPEND AND HAS BEEN VERY RELIABLE THIS CAR IS ALWAYS GARAGED . AS THE CAR IS NOT DRIVEN I NEED IT GONE ASAP ALL OFFERS m 90 K CONSIDERED MUST SELL THIS WEEK Offers under 90 will not be considered"

and now being advertised at a 28% price premium by dealer

GST...more like 20%...

Not quite.  If the guy trading it was a private individual and not GST registered, the dealer would get a notional GST credit on the trade-in value, so when they sell the car, they would only effectively pay 1/11 of their profit margin as GST.  So, sell for $106k, trade in for $82500, pay GST of about $2100, so their profit will be about $21k, or 25.5%........

I know yellow is the new black based on recent PFA purchases, but surely this is being optimistic: https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2003-porsche-911-carrera-cabriolet-996-auto-my03/SSE-AD-6483601/?Cr=12 yeah low k's but auto cab

Seems right to me Stepo,  when you weigh up all the factors the math adds up.

996.2 Cabriolet (on average mid 40s)

good condition (add 5 k)

Very low 39k's -(add 5k)

Extremely desirable colour (add 50k)

= about 110k.

( I should be on Wheeler Dealers)

You forgot to include the handbag that is pictured in a couple of the shots - A bargain at 110K....

Bit light on for manual coupe fodder at the moment, fortunately this just popped up on Gumtree, tantalizingly without photos:

"VERY RARE APPRECIATING CLASSIC CONVERTIBLE"

But then goes on to mention a sunroof...Might be very rare, convertible with a sunroof.

TCB car sales.........Not sure if Facebook page is still there but reading some of the comments on previous postings you would never buy a car from them.

Also is listed on WOVR.

In itself not doom n gloom ...plenty of proud owners, likely driving heavily repaired cars and none the wiser.

certainly know of one overseas gent who splashed heavy a cpl years ago at a Mlb Dealer and bought what he thought was a clean, restored  67S   When in fact more likely a heavily repaired/restored 68s. As far as he’s concerned, he’s driving an original non crashed car.

At close to this guys asking ...’buy n drive’ ...
