Morpheus Posted 20September, 2018 Report Share Posted 20September, 2018 Actually, you are right. The one you mentioned above was a manual too.

Cheap @ $32K but also note: Maybe its a good car now - I still think its worth watching this one to see if the WOVR tag will stick (after maybe being in in Brisbane floods ?????) SOLD in Dec 2016 Grays Auction & very low Ks since then 1998 Porsche 996 Carrera RWD Sports Automatic Coupe 159,853km WOVR $24,700 http://www.graysonline.com/lot/0002-7700535/motor-vehiclesmotor-cycles/1998-porsche-996-carrera-rwd-sports-automatic-coupe-159-853km-wovr
Pokiou Posted 23September, 2018 Report Share Posted 23September, 2018 that would make a good track car... but you could make your money back parting the parts out.
Daly87 Posted 6October, 2018 Report Share Posted 6October, 2018 Quite an interesting colour! https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-911-Carrera-1999/SSE-AD-5697806 Pictures don’t look much in the ad but when googling that colour it looks amazing when detailed. Yeah. That looks like a pretty good buy Here is a good example of how good the colour looks - sort of purple tinge: https://rpmtechnik.co.uk/sales/vehicle/996-csr-retro/

Zelrik911 Posted 7October, 2018 Report Share Posted 7October, 2018 Unusual, but nice colour - my monitor doesn't do it justice though. I am thinking it must be a private import as the colour & a few other clues are not the sort of options that were offered &/or available here. 996 sales are very slow ATM so I think this could be a good buy & a good 'keeper' for an enthusiast - not collector. Gas Posted 11October, 2018 Report Share Posted 11October, 2018 The old ad from the last owner popped up a couple of months ago. The car was located in SA and had approximately 50k km. Priced about the same from memory. Look back a few pages and you’ll find my link to the old reactivated ad (Carsales glitch) JWM

DT Posted 12October, 2018 Report Share Posted 12October, 2018 Nice manual coupe on the 'Porsche Cars & Parts For Sale' Facebook page. Seem to recall this was originally advertised for 62 or 67K. Now $48,843, seems like a good deal to me: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/998827413612939/ Morpheus and Troubleshooter

laama Posted 14October, 2018 Report Share Posted 14October, 2018 Hey, Im new to all this and was wondering, a 2000 911 Carrera with over 100k on it, what would be a good price to get it at? What factory options are desirable? Does a GT3 Kit diminish value? TIA

Zelrik911 Posted 14October, 2018 Report Share Posted 14October, 2018 Good price = 37K. Kit bling = big minus (to me). Colour more important than options.

Yeh - the KM's are starting to go further through 130k's so I think I might pass it off. Will be to hard to sell when needed at 150+++

Can add up to another 5k on the car depending on if its the full kit (rear wing, side skirts, front bumper).
