Does it stop at just a series 2  dash? Isn't the center console layout slightly different in the series 2.

Good question, the layout is the same but the components are different.

MK2 the 'horseshoe' is one piece in the MK1 it's 2

And the component layout above the console eg hvac area.  Not convinced your mk1 bits just slot in.  Anyway, bloody expensive OCD thinking to store your logbooks.  I'd spend similiar cash on a exhaust and tune instead and become OCD with getting it over 5000 rpm.

MK2 also has cup holders in the "horseshoe"

Seems all the 996 Turbo's are taking a hit, one under 80k and a few in the 80's

Seems like not all grapes on the vines  are alike.  Bit like cherry picking.  Big hit on pricing for the sour ones compared to the sweeter ones.  You go for the sour ones others go for sweeter ones ( double the asking  price).

Roy seems to have THE cherry.

Yes I'm a collector Roy, no i don't want to drive it Roy.

Good luck getting a deal.

Great colour.

Are the other's really that sour?

Think I'd rather buy 80 for 70 and spend on development.

me too......pay 80 and keep 50 in your pocket for contingencies

Roy has his hand on it.

Wouldn't this be better value?

This one still cracks me, was for sale in Adelaide for 18 months at around $130K and didn't sell, so why not send it to Sydney and put another $40k on it, then it will sell for sure.

Re 'better value'...it really all depends on how much each individual values the third pedal.

I also suspect the vehicle in Qld is comparing theirs to the one in Sydney, hence the asking?.......just speculating :)

How does that work?.  Are Lorbeks selling  old stock for on and behalf of a Porsche dealer to make way for impending 992 turbo's?

Looks like the 996 Turbo at Richmonds is under offer. Not surprising given the price.

Anyone from PFA?

Also noted that a few cars at Richmonds are under offer in recent days.

End of world, must get my dream car splurge 😂

This looks nice in white, as they always do. Does look like it's in great condition but is it worth $70k at the moment? I'd sell mine if someone offered that!!

It’s better value than this:

Naaaah, it's the ultra rare 'black with Savannah beige' interior. Worth every cent mate 👍

But it's optioned with the 4S front bumper and the very first ever set of crab claws which are still in mint condition. They alone are at least worth the $500,000!
