... the old "buy the owner" adage applied.

Yep, so true.

That said, if I had done that with my car, I would have walked away. He talked so much rubbish!

I saw through it all (well most of it)  and whilst it's been a long road, she's now humming, always ready to to go for a drive, looks nice (from a far) and always wanting a little attention (which keeps me entertained).

For "the boss" 🙂

What he said ^^

Still have a 3 pedal GT3... I’m content 😬

It is not that my better half can’t drive manual, she got her license that way, and does enjoy rowing gears... but we wanted to try something different, particularly  for cross city traffic (we live south and her family is in the northern beaches, Mosman on Sunday isn’t much fun riding a clutch pedal) and then those casual weekend drives to the vineyards and coast.... which we have not done in a long time since “I ruined” the other car 😂

Have you decided on this one Edgy????

If not, there's always the chance to go pure.....https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/Porsche-Boxster-2001/SSE-AD-5308440/?Cr=16 although it has a premium for the exceptional colour....

I'm tempted by this one.....would be interesting to see just how far it will go.  There's some type of theory about cars with higher kms having less issues....

Just needs a coiff , some makeup and heels and it's all good for another night on the town!
For 8k if it goes bang you can just whack a V8 in. Like people "recommend" for old 928s.

Do it... we could make an interesting blog or you tube videos about it, you know, seeing as I've essentially just  paid over double for a car with a quarter of the miles!

That theory is the same one that goes 'it ran when I parked it'.

Cars wear out with kms.  You cann'ae change the laws of physics on that one.

  • 2 weeks later...

Not a bad option in the west.

It’s a UK import but seems keen to sell.

Ps I have a 986 2.7 man and they are a hoot, great bang for the dollar.
