LMP1

I know there is little, if any interest in LMP1 now that Porsche quit, but at the Silverstone race both Toyota's were excluded post race for non-conformity!!

So Toyota saw the need to bend the rules when there was no other opposition... hmmm....

Part of the Toyota statement....

"All our drivers drove our cars with their full power and the fight for victory was truly exciting for the fans so I truly feel disappointed to lose the result."

Umm, why , who were they racing??!!

LMP1 = joke now!!

 So they're the only LMP1 cars in the race racing against themselves and they get disqualified? It's like a boxer shadow boxing and getting disqualified for hitting himself in the plums too many times!  ??

If you beat yourself you are a wanker! If you beat each other?

It has made the LMP points vaguely interesting for a short while.....

... or maybe this is why it happened and no protest.  "Either you give up a race or we will take back some of the performance advantage".

No Toyota's fault everyone else left.

Last year Porsche and Toyota were 13 laps up, this year Toyota only 3 laps up!

Toyota did same number of laps and same lap times, privateer teams all quicker, either Toyota saw fit not to change the car or drive well within itself, which ever, the class is dying a slow (or maybe speedy) death....
