930_outlaw Posted 18September, 2018 Report Share Posted 18September, 2018 Some of you may know I’m in the midst of a full rebuild of my 74 911 /87 930 hotrod. Full rotisserie... everything rebuilt and refinished. Darren at auto coupe is mid way through my 930 motor and box complete rebuild... so we are going bigger barrels - 3.4l , bigger turbo, 964 cam, and some other tweets.... keeping the MFI. Box is LSD, The torsion bar is 31mm, everything is factory 87 930... everything. Will be making a set of 3 peice Fuchs and the rear will hopefully be 11x15 running a 295-315 tyre ( I want all the rubber in the world under those hips hahah ) Car will be lighter and with a lot more HP and as I’m replacing pretty much everything I may as well think about suspension to keep power to the ground and me out I’d ditch lol. Anyone used Werks ASP adjustable spring plates? Any ideas of a good rear set up ?? I’d like to hear all ideas. I do want to try keep the idiosyncrasies of the old girl. So nothing too modern or over the top. Go ?
GUT Posted 19September, 2018 Report Share Posted 19September, 2018 Pretty funky looking set up I’d control your urges and save your money - leave the stock spring plates. Or you could go coilover if you’re hell bent on fiddling
