Dave997S Posted 14October, 2018 Report Share Posted 14October, 2018 Well, silly me forgot the 986 headlights don’t have auto off. After taking my wife for a drive on Monday night after her birthday dinner, I’ve left the lights on. I got up to go meet Stew at Apollo Bay and the battery was dead. I put in on trickle charge for an hour as I dash out and bought a booster. It started but after I backed out of the garage, the roof wouldn’t retract and indicators wouldn’t function. All other systems seem fine. I reckon it’s just a fuse and will be going through them, but any other suggestions?? Could the roof just need more battery power?? firstone Posted 14October, 2018 Report Share Posted 14October, 2018 Give it a full charge. My car wigged out twice with a dying battery. I can't recall the exact ways. How'd the fuse fare?
Dave997S Posted 14October, 2018 Author Report Share Posted 14October, 2018 Yeah, I’m going to give it a full charge and then check. The fuse for the roof was loose (could have bumped it when fiddling with the special red one???). Popped it back in and will give it a crack in the morning.
