Harsh Posted 23December, 2018 Report Share Posted 23December, 2018 Anyone had any experience with engine fire suppression systems like the Blazecut system. And if so what did you think about them.Is there an alternative? Australian made product?
LeeM Posted 23December, 2018 Report Share Posted 23December, 2018 A bit of info here @Harsh The blaze cut probably won't last long from what I've been told and read online. Great idea, but there are better options to that And here. Going by a recent fire in a tarmac rally car which had a fuel filter or hose come loose, they used 4 or 5 extinguishers to no avail. It was sadly a total loss. If it was me, I'd go the whole shebang and fit a fire bomb plumbed from the cabin .
Harsh Posted 23December, 2018 Author Report Share Posted 23December, 2018 cheers.............have an extinguisher in the car, thought the Blazecut would just buy some time to get the car stopped

Maybe someone else who has a better memory than me can shed some more light
