FS: 1973 993 RS look

Recommended Posts

Yes that’s right, this car is a ‘73 original RHD delivered in the UK

it was completely restored and updated to a 993 RS look about 5 years ago. Factory 993 steel panels were used. No fibreglass

Paint and body work is perfect except for a small crack on the front bumper

it has zero rust and I mean that. Any inspection is welcome

it has a 3L SC engine running Webers and the original 5 speed gearbox

Interior has also been updated to RS finish including turtle back seats, dash top, doors and steering wheel

it has a sunroof

i have the engineers report and import approval with me. It’s on a club permit which I believe is not transferable unless you are a member of the same club

i honestly love driving this car but I am about to start house extension and need the $$s. So not open for swaps etc, need to sell it

So please contact me only if you are serious and not going to low ball it. Won’t work

the car is in Kew East in Melbourne

i will be advertising it for $72k on carsales, Facebook etc but will make allowance for a PFA members for a no fuss sale

The frustration you must feel is unfathomable....

Reckon this would be a great entry point into longhood ownership at a sensible price point! Save for/amass the parts to convert back whilst you enjoy a road going vehicle in one of the best P colours going around IMO. 😎

Win/win!

GLWS!

Bloody sucks alright, the two idiots wasted 3 months for me now

I reckon $63k for this car is a bargain so I am not giving it away. Worst case I will keep it and take a bigger loan for the house

That's more like it. Rather sell my house than sell my Porsche if push comes to shove!

You’re in luck. Interest rates just dropped.

I didn't realise graysonline could result in a non-paying outcome. Bugger.

It's interesting because the conditions of bidding state they can take at least a deposit from your credit card. Maybe they tried and it declined?

They said they can pursue him but its a legal process which takes months with no guaranteed outcome anyway. Meanwhile the car will be on hold. Obviously I said don't bother, I am not just keep my life on hold for few months for an outcome

Had someone from FB this morning offering me $50k cash or $61k if I put it back to long nose in original colour

I was tempted to accept but F off was easier

For that price the paint job would only take a couple of minutes

Car still here, can't believe this hasn't sold yet

If someone wants to turn it into a long nose RS look, I have fibreglass front & rear RS bumpers and front guards to go with it

Can source the rest of the required panels as well

Also I have to own a 928 at some stage in my life so would consider a partial swap
