(FOUND!) WTB Warm Up Regulator 090

Hi team,  I just discovered that my WUR is a number 054, which is apparently suitable for Turbo cars only.

The WUR that is correct for my car is a 090.

I'm just wondering if anybody happens to have a 090 WUR laying around the shed that they would like to sell to me?

Or if you would like to swap for the Turbo version that I currently have as part of my CIS.

Cheers.

Get in contact with these guys, may be able to do you a swap (or help you in some way)? They rebuilt my WUR on exchange basis, good service!!

Thanks mate - will check them out.

Still keen to hear though if anybody happens to have one sitting on a shelf somewhere until I pull the trigger on going to a pro.

They buy WURs as well, to keep up their stock, you may get one pretty cheap! Whatever used one you do get would need to be recalibrated most likely?

Mine cost $300 rebuilt.

Good luck!!

How is your rebuild coming along?

Just looked at the website - very reasonably priced compared to the US people.

Will shoot them a message. Cheers @ANF

Just getting the cam timing sorted and piston/cylinder clearances checked.

Then I can start installing the rest of the valves and rockers, oil cooler and CIS.   Although - I have to start sourcing all the vac hoses and fuel lines on the CIS and a correct WUR.

Slowly... Slowly..... :s

Wouldn't you have checked your piston/cylinder clearances before assembly?

Ah - good spotting, what I meant was Valve to Piston clearance. ;)

@ANF Ended up hearing from Colin at K-Jet Biz.

He has a 090 body that he is going to build up for me. Reasonable price too.

Thanks for the referral! One less reason for my car not to start once the engine is installed. :)

by a country mile!

Still plenty of things I have to do!
There was also some weeping of oil from the joins in the transmission, so I have to work out how to replace gaskets in a 915.
There's another year right there.   :P
