damienoliver Posted 15May, 2019 Report Share Posted 15May, 2019 Hello! I am looking to swap my black window/door trim for chrome on my 911SC. Before I pay for the new pieces, I thought I would check in case anyone here wants to go the other way? Cheers, Damo
LeeM Posted 17May, 2019 Report Share Posted 17May, 2019 No, but it might be a cheaper option to have yours chromed
crsedge Posted 19May, 2019 Report Share Posted 19May, 2019 Or gently remove the black, they are all silver underneath- alloy I think?
Arnage Posted 19May, 2019 Report Share Posted 19May, 2019 I think someone on here used a type of oven cleaner to remove the black anodised finish from window frames. Could have been MFX on his "Home Built" thread.

damienoliver Posted 20May, 2019 Author Report Share Posted 20May, 2019 Thanks guys, I might just stay with the black until I find a full chrome set. 👍

damienoliver Posted 20May, 2019 Author Report Share Posted 20May, 2019 Awesome, thanks guys. I will look into converting my stuff. Yes, the upper door frames seem to be hard to find. Second hand is the only way?
