reddahaydn Posted 25June, 2019 Report Share Posted 25June, 2019 Hey guys, I'm after a GPS data logger suitable for club sprints. No real particular brand in mind. No set budget, I'll review each offered unit on its merits. Cheers, Haydn

Rob H Posted 25June, 2019 Report Share Posted 25June, 2019 Hi Haydn, I have a RaceChrono with 3.5" touch screen, remote GPS with Bluetooth, original packaging, chargers, quick start guides. I used to velcro the remote GPS head on the inside of the back window. Lap times were identical to the Dorian timer results, gives good split times, comparisons, lines etc. No further use. Will consider trade for grandfather clock or calendar. Cheers, Rob 0419 419

I've been trying to decide between the racechrono above, or the AIM Solo 2. Rob - I've sent a PM.
DJM Posted 27June, 2019 Report Share Posted 27June, 2019 I'm going for one of these given my car runs microtech ecu and the dash is a mess of different gauges and a wobbly tacho. Cleans it all up and adds lap times, speed, warnings for low pressure, high temp etc. I assume it can be integrated somehow with video from a GoPro or similar........🤔 https://microtechefi.com/product/ltc-pro-dash/
Airhead Posted 28June, 2019 Report Share Posted 28June, 2019 I use a Qstarz Sectors come up red or green so you know if slower/quicker lap by lap. Shows lap time /best or comparison. Sometimes you're too busy to look at it though!! Download to lap top and you can see times x sector and lap, lines, lap graph, speeds etc. Pretty effective and helps analyse your performance. has it made me faster? Not sure but it hasn't made me slower. Only $350 if I recall.
