Niko Posted 30November, 2019 Report Share Posted 30November, 2019 Well it was yesterday actually, I took the BBC to a Tyre place in Braeside, and had a brand spanking new set of MICHELIN PS4S's fitted, along with a front and rear alignment. I got nearly 20k out of the previous set of PS4S's so pretty happy with that. I really love these tyres, they hang on better than sh#* to a blanket wet or dry roads. DavidW•GT3• Posted 21December, 2019 Report Share Posted 21December, 2019 Agree re PS4S...I tried a set of Pirelli P Zeros a few sets back just for a change and immediately regretted it. Found them noisy with nowhere near as much lateral grip. Niko

monty188 Posted 11January, 2020 Report Share Posted 11January, 2020 I removed the old seats from my 986 Boxster ( which were cracked, well worn due to age and a too much sun) and replaced then with some much neater seats from a 987. An easy swap and a perfect fit! Troubleshooter and Philbee

Battery World is the place to go. I have just replaced mine a couple of weeks ago, went to Battery World, checked the old battery and declared it deceased. $230 or thereabouts from memory for a new one. Great service. The previous battery lasted for five years. But had obviously been sick for a long time. My Battery top up charger which was on all the time while the car was garaged, always showed only red for about the past twelve months. I thought the charger must not be reading it properly. Anyway now when I put the trickle charger on it glows a nice healthy green when its topped up. Raven

Rick V Posted 18January, 2020 Report Share Posted 18January, 2020 Kept it basic & gave her a well overdue decent wash..... I think it might have been Jeremy Clarkson whom said that he keeps the car if he still enjoys washing it. On that basis, its a keeper... Airhead Posted 19March, 2020 Report Share Posted 19March, 2020 Added a fiberglass/carbon fibre cover for the belts on the 944 race motor. Yes I know its upside down. Then realised needed to cut out a bit at the bottom of the rear cover for the sensor and bracket. Troubleshooter
