81SC Posted 18September, 2019 Report Share Posted 18September, 2019 I'm thinking they are for the bumper bar supports.

Merv Posted 18September, 2019 Report Share Posted 18September, 2019 Looked at mine yesterday. For a car that was designed with rust prevention in mind there are so many small hose and pipe clamps, brackets, bolts and screws that are plain untreated steel under these cars. Peter M Posted 18September, 2019 Report Share Posted 18September, 2019 Merv, Mine are all yellow cadmium plated. Not as good as galvanised but has done the job OK.

And self tappers directly through steel with no treatment of the holes. I’m surprised there wasn’t a load of rust around the holes when I removed the AC hoses from my SC. GOOD STEEL. Merv Posted 19September, 2019 Report Share Posted 19September, 2019 The saddle brackets securing the pipes and hoses are all vulnerable. I am presently replacing them all!
