sus911 Posted 24September, 2019 Report Share Posted 24September, 2019 Copied & adapted from posts on other sites I decided to have a go at repairing my crushed oil lines. Both lines were damaged and one particularly badly. In a nutshell, it's best if you remove your lines. A tool like this serves to seal off the ends so you can pressurize the line to 70~90PSI while you spot heat the damaged ares very carefully with a torch. I used a MAPP torch and had no trouble getting the lines to cherry red quite quickly. I admit to being quite nervous! Anyway, SUCCESS!!! Even the badly creased damage came out almost round. I did get one pin hole on the most damaged section but successfully repaired that with silver solder. I now have free flowing lines! So you'll need a compressor, a few clamps, a spare air line connector to screw into the large black cap that screws onto the braided hose, and a torch. The rest is yours for the cost of postage to you. First in....
