Aintgotitmusthaveit Posted 6November, 2019 Report Share Posted 6November, 2019 Hi all So the restoration on the 77 turbo continues. I’ve started stripping my door surrounds after realizing they were painted/powder coated as opposed to anodized. Has anyone in Victoria had theirs re plated? Looking for recommendations. Also was the finish shiny satin or Matt originally? GTP911
Rod C Posted 7November, 2019 Report Share Posted 7November, 2019 Just incase you were contemplating using Modern Plating I had a very average experience. Put a line through that lot!
Merv Posted 7November, 2019 Report Share Posted 7November, 2019 Not many are doing anodising these days. Powder coating is cheaper and harder but is not always great on sharp edges. You could try http://www.agradeanodising.com.au/
