Donald-Adelaide Posted 2January, 2020 Report Share Posted 2January, 2020 I have a 1989 944S2 with Koni Coilovers on the front. The coilovers are the cuts and shut modification with Koni 8641-1365 sports inserts. One of them is damaged, I'm looking for replacements as Koni stopped making them around 15 years ago. Has anyone managed to source an alternative? Thanks in advance.

Donald-Adelaide Posted 3January, 2020 Author Report Share Posted 3January, 2020 Hi Brian, thanks for the reply. I thought this was am option, but according to TopPerformance (the KONI distributors) its not. Do you have a first hand experience. I have written to Paragon Products and waiting for a reply. Spoke to Jason at Paragon Products and he said the 1414sports are a direct replacement for the 1365 so have ordered new one.

Yes this is what I did for my 1988 944s Why does TopPerf. say its not ??? Rookie mechanical experience & did all the installation. The koni yellow was recommended to me by another front engine transaxle expert - @Rob I installed the konis at the softest setting which is advertised by koni, as harder than the original stock component. Very acceptable to me for a "spirited" street drive.
