Niko Posted 9January, 2020 Report Share Posted 9January, 2020 Great rundown on why the 986S is good value to have. Bang for your buck it's hard to beat. Now is a good time to get on board.... Makes me start to wish I had have had both the space and the money to have been able to afford to keep my "Old Yella" even though that was a tipper compared to the manual in this clip. https://flatsixes.com/cars/porsche-boxster/dont-tell-anyone-how-great-the-986-boxster-is/ tomo and JWM
monty188 Posted 9January, 2020 Report Share Posted 9January, 2020 No need to convince me - I just bought one prior to Christmas 😀 Niko
Troubleshooter Posted 9January, 2020 Report Share Posted 9January, 2020 Such fun what’s not to love, can’t understand why everyone doesn’t have one 👍🏻 Overall it’s usually my choice of weapon when the garage door opens 😀 Niko, Philbee and Skidmarks
Gavn Posted 9January, 2020 Report Share Posted 9January, 2020 Most enjoyable modern era Porsche I've driven was a 2.7 pov spec boxster. Would have one again in a heartbeat but I think this time 986 rather than 987. I understand there's always a good reason to have more hp but everything just felt so right in the boxster & you could happily wring its neck time & time again. next car on the list... Skidmarks Posted 10January, 2020 Report Share Posted 10January, 2020 I had an early Boxster S. One of the sweetest sounding and best handling cars I’ve ever driven. Then my wife got in it and drove it. Then I didn’t drive it so much ... Troubleshooter and firstone
base Posted 11January, 2020 Report Share Posted 11January, 2020 Perhaps there’s a Boxster revival in motion?
