18" BBS wheels

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

18x9 offset +47mm (front)

18x11 offset +66mm (rear)

Originally magnesium centres. The original centres were then used to make moulds and re-cast in aluminium. So, they still retain the early style look without the worry of cracking. OEM BBS barrels & new hardware, have been sealed, fitted with tyres and balanced up well. Originally used on a 996 GT3. Happy to post/ship at buyers expense. Any questions let me know.

$6000.00 ono

Can include 4 x original mag centres as part of the sale.

@hugh just out of interest, what would a replacement set cost new, just the rims

You are looking at approx. $1200 per centre + inner & outer + hardware. To build a new set from scratch you's struggle to get much change out of 8k (I have been quoted as much as 10k).

Oh wow, does that mean you are retiring the GT3 from track work ?

I've already got a few sets of wheels now and these are just surplus. Its a shame as they have cost me a bomb (and taken forever).

In relation to the GT3, I haven't really done any track work in it, just a couple of social days. I just started doing the state hill climb championships in it this year but we've only had 2 rounds..............not sure when that will be back up post Covid. Its been a bit of a garage queen up until recently, looking forward to getting back out there.

I’d suggest a 235 front and a 295 rear.

I think there is a bit of confusion here.  Best confirm that these are bare rims, without tyres.
