Steering wheel identifcation

Hey All,

I know there are some steering wheel aficionado's out there so any help would be appreciated.

I'm looking to identify and value the wheel in the photos. I know some are worth nothing and some are worth thousands ... Found it while cleaning out the garage along with a Mazda MX5 Momo.

It has 5/84 stamped and I'm presuming that is the production date?

Any help appreciated ..

I typed in google "momo wood steering wheel from 1984" and got a few hits.

Would appear they were for Mercs and BMW's of that era.

Thanks @3legs .... I also tried the Google thing and while I found 1 or 2 for sale, I couldn't find any specific information ...

I dare say it was a generic wheel that would fit any car with the right boss. No idea of the "name" or model number of the wheel.

@Dreamr very much in the same shape as the early pre AMG steering wheels used for MB’s particularly on SEC’s of that era. I have not seen a wood version most were leather.

if you were looking to sell the major Benz forum is Ozbenz Aust or MB world as it’s potentially worth an international listing to get a good price.
