Michael P Posted 20February, 2020 Report Share Posted 20February, 2020 Hi All - picked up my 996 Turbo the other day. Couldn’t be happier. But I have come across a few loose parts, which leaves me ask the question - “what the bloody hell are these?” Help me PFA!
TwoHeadsTas Posted 20February, 2020 Report Share Posted 20February, 2020 First 2 photos I reckon might be front number plate mounts. My 996 has 2 small square holes in front bumper, these clip in (mounted the right way so you get a flat plane across the tops) with screws from the number plate into the mounts helping to spread the clips, holding the mount into the hole. You might have a different arrangement already fitted though Troubleshooter

The existing front slimline nsw plate looks like its attached directly to those squares
Michael P Posted 20February, 2020 Author Report Share Posted 20February, 2020 Thanks people. If it helps the metal clip was found in the engine bay. Another follow up question (I reckon this is an easy one) - what is the removable panel with popping clips found just under the battery
9fan Posted 21February, 2020 Report Share Posted 21February, 2020 Easy answer - if any have numbers ask Porsche Parts !
Troubleshooter Posted 21February, 2020 Report Share Posted 21February, 2020 Top pics are front number plate spacers, middle pic is a clip 😂 and I think you’ll find a 6 stacker CD cartridge thing behind that panel. Undo it and find out .....
